This one-day event features three exceptional concerts showcasing a diverse range of music performed by renowned musicians from Australia and abroad. The Prelude Festival starts at 11am with an all-Baroque concert featuring works by Bach, Handel, and Muffat, performed by a trio from the ensemble Van Diemen's Band, comprising violin, harpsichord, and organ. At 1.30 pm, the newly formed ensemble String Theorem takes the stage, presenting Mozart's Divertimento K563. The day concludes with a captivating performance by the Alma Moodie

Under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Nicholas Carter , the AYO will showcase the virtuosity of Australia's finest young musicians in this powerful program.
